PIRANA MUSIC ACADEMY is the first of its kind in Canberra. The only music school combined with a full blown music store to give you a complete package in the one building. From expert advice on choosing your instrument to fully professional music tuition all at the one location. Realising the lack of music facilities on the north side of Canberra, Pirana Music opened in 2007 and soon expanded to complete the Pirana Music Academy. The dream-child of Keith Greig, (Guitarist for The Limits 67-69,Keyboard player for Pirana '72-'73, The Reels '77-78,Roland sales/product demonstrator 82-86. Keith has written and performed material with the Victorian Youth Symphony Orchestra, '73), was to provide a facility in Canberra that gave people an opportunity to fulfil their dreams to play a musical instrument. Students are provided with an enviroment that is friendly, encouraging, and most of all one where they can realise their full potential. All student classes are run on the school term and are a one on one lesson. We also will be offering group/band/songwriting classes during the school holidays.
